I’m no stranger to M&As in my industry…and what happens to many of the acquired employees.
Hi. It’s me. That (un)acquired employee.
Since my tenure at Escalent/C Space was cut short when my position was eliminated, my days have been (mostly) filled with goodness! Some have been passion-filled, others manic. All introspective.
Thinking. Writing. Momming. Creating. Planning. Vacationing. Scheming. Enjoying.
Above all else, there has been one driving goal: Happiness.
I have many responsibilities in life. I won’t attempt to name, or pretend like I balance, them all. But…Happiness! When did it get bounced from shotgun to the car’s boot?
As I navigate moving forward, I’m shifting #PassionsAndPriorities, rebalancing my mental load, and giving my Happiness a chance to drive. At least for a minute. Maybe an hour. Maybe forever.
