Three whimsical, watercolor Christmas ball ornaments in green, blue, and pink.
These simple, but sweet baubles are fun to create and look at. Happy Holidays, indeed!

The holiday season is in full swing, and life has been busier than ever. Between family commitments, growing my business, and contracting for a research firm, it’s been a whirlwind—but one I’m deeply grateful for. The season for Holiday Chaos!

As the owner of Oceane’s Echo, I’ve been hard at work creating and sharing new content that reflects my passion for sustainability and creativity. It’s such a joy to see how much people connect with the handmade pieces and thoughtful designs that make this business so special. At the same time, I’ve been focused on growing and scaling my business, strategizing new ways to reach more people who value unique, sustainable products.

On top of that, I’ve been diving into meaningful work as a contractor for a research firm, staying engaged with my professional expertise in insights and analysis. Balancing all these roles has been challenging, but it’s also incredibly fulfilling. Each role teaches me something new and contributes to my growth, both personally and professionally.

In the midst of this busy season, I’ve been reflecting on how important it is to shop small year-round, not just on Small Business Saturday or during the holidays. Shopping small isn’t just about buying a product—it’s about supporting dreams, building communities, and empowering creativity. Every time you choose to shop from a small business, you’re making a tangible difference in someone’s life—whether it’s helping them pay their bills, invest in new designs, or simply feel seen and appreciated for their hard work.

This year, let’s make a collective effort to extend that support beyond the holiday season. Shop small not just one day a year but all year long. Every purchase matters, every review helps, and every share spreads the word to others who might also fall in love with the unique offerings small businesses provide.

For me, running Oceane’s Echo is more than a job; it’s a reflection of who I am and what I value. I’m proud of what I’ve built and deeply thankful for every customer, supporter, and fellow small business owner who makes this journey worthwhile.

So, as we navigate this busy season together, let’s remember to celebrate all the little moments, accomplishments, and connections that make this time of year so magical. And don’t forget to shop small—not just for the holidays but every day.

Thank you for supporting small businesses like mine and for being part of this incredible community. Here’s to a season filled with gratitude, growth, and giving back.
